Every project starts with a question: what’s the one thing we want people to feel? Everything flows from there. Here’s how we get from blank page to final delivery.
Phase 1: Immersion (Week 1)
We don’t start designing. We start listening. Stakeholder interviews, competitor audits, audience research, and a deep dive into the company’s past, present, and aspirational future. By Friday, we have a 20-page document — not of design options, but of context. Context is the raw material of strategy.
Phase 2: Territory Mapping (Week 2)
Armed with context, we map 3–5 creative territories: distinct conceptual directions that the brand could own. Each territory gets a name, a mood board, and a one-line articulation of the core idea. The goal here is divergence — we want options that feel genuinely different, not variations on the same thought.
Phase 3: Refinement (Weeks 3–4)
Once the client selects a territory, the real work begins. We refine the chosen direction across every touchpoint: logo variations, typography, color palette, photography style, illustration language, motion behavior. At this stage, we’re not just designing assets — we’re building a system.
Phase 4: Delivery (Week 5)
The final handoff is a living brand guide, ready-to-use assets in every format the client needs, and — most importantly — a 90-minute walkthrough with the team that will actually use the brand day to day. A brand guide nobody reads is the same as having no brand at all.
